I'm an integrative counsellor committed to offering careful, considered listening to the backdrop of professional skills and a wealth of experience working with people in personal times of need. My qualifications include a BSc in Psychotherapy, a Diploma in Counselling, and a BA in English Literature with Modern History.
I aim to curate a space for each individual by providing a natural, gentle, empathetic, professional and safe space to all who come for therapy.
I'm a fully registered member of the BACP.
I'm trained in a variety of modalities, such as: Person-Centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, Gestalt, Existential, Choice Theory, Psychodynamic, and more.
I can help specifically with: depression, anxiety, low mood, low motivation, loss, grief, attachment wounds, identity, self-esteem, trauma, relational crises, family issues, receiving a new diagnosis (including Autism or ADHD), facing a health diagnosis or illness (that may be your own, or even that of a loved one), and challenges associated with long-term health conditions.
As an integrative counsellor I have a wide and varied skill-set which allows me to employ the particular modality or intervention which best suits your individual needs. This also allows space for a therapeutic approach to change or vary as your needs evolve during the therapeutic process.
Collaborating with you, being client-led, and respecting the uniqueness and value of each individual is at the core of my practice.
The difficulties and challenges that lead someone to seek out professional counselling are wide and varied.
